  The First European conference on Mechanism Science EUCOMES 2006 is a European forum for facilitating contacts among research people, industry professionals and students. Its topics are mechanisms within aspects of theory, design, practice and applications in engineering. The conference was organized by University of Innsbruck, Austria, Chairman: Prof. Dr. Manfred Husty. The number of participants on EUCOMES 2010 was 48. The papers have been presented as oral presentations during the Conference.   The 2-nd European Conference on Mechanism Science EUCOMES 2008, 17- 20 September 2008: Cassino, Italy
  EUCOMES 2008 is the second event of a series that has been started in 2006. The Conference was held at the School of Engineering of the University of Cassino, Italy. The Chairman of EUCOMES 2008 was Prof. Marco Ceccarelli, President of IFTOMM. In this second event the organisers have received an increased attention to the initiative, as can be seen by the fact that the EUCOMES Proceedings will contain contributions by authors even from all around the world. The program of EUCOMES08 Conference included technical sessions with oral presentations, which, together with informal conversations during the social program, enable to offer wide opportunities to share experiences and discuss scientific achievements and current trends in the approached areas.The organizers received 81 papers, and after review 72 papers are accepted for both presentation and publication in the Proceedings. These papers cover several aspects of the wide field of Mechanism Science. The papers have been published in Springer Publishing House, Marco Ceccarelli, Editor, ISBN 987-1-4020-8914-5.
